Amprobe AT-2005 and AT-2005A Wire Circuit Tracers have been discontinued and replaced by Amprobe AT-6030.

In many industrial places, hospitals and large buildings electrical circuits run in metalic conduits.  It’s a great way to protect cables, but when it comes to tracing them behind walls it might be aAmprobe AT-2005 Wire Tracer with Boostern impediment, as such conduits tend to depress the signal.  The only way to trace wires successfully over-and-over again is by using wire tracer with signal booster.

Amprobe AT-2005 Wire Tracer comes with signal booster, or additional battery power, which amplifies signal making wire tracing a “pleasant” job.  The same AT-2005 wire tracer can be used to trace breakers, find opens and shorts, and even trace underground wires.  It’s a great tools a must for electricians who want to do a job fast.
