Testo 550 Series Refrigerant System Analyzer Review

Summer is in full bore and there is no better time to discuss Testo’s 550  Refrigerant System Analyzers. These analyzers are a great upgrade for any technician who is not currently using a RSA.

First off, this unit is preprogrammed for 34 refrigerants instead of the 3 gasses most manifold gauges are calibrated for.  This gives you a lot of relief of not having the right tool for the job. This item really does replace many of the common tools used on a job site. The large, bright backlit LCD display will show the current Freon setting, the Superheat and Subcool temperatures as well as the change in pressures.
