UEi Instruments Smart Bell Plus Combustion Analyzer

      One of the many things I hear about Combustion Analyzers is they are too expensive. While I may disagree, I do understand that for many people spending $1200 or more on a premium combustion analyzer is not within their budget constraints. Being able to squeeze as many features into their purchase without breaking the bank is a tough balance. Everyone wants the full color display with the touch screen and Bluetooth but sometimes, it’s just not in the cards. Don’t fret as all is not lost.        The UEi Smart Bell Plus Combustion Analyzer has everything you need to start combustion analysis as it measures CO, CO2, and Temperature and can calculate the O2 Excess Air and Efficiency. UEi analyzers do not come with an oxygen sensor but instead use their CO2 Electro-Optical Sensor to calculate CO2. That measurement coupled with the CO measurement will calculate the O2 present. This allows UEi to offer a 5 year warranty on their analyzers.  The Smart Bell Plus is preprogrammed with 5 common fuel types and is an easy to use handheld analyzer. There is one knob that controls everything and is easy to learn. You simply use the knob to select the fuel type you are working with then turn on the unit. After that you turn the knob to the test you want to perform and you are done.

        Like I said, this unit does not feature all the bells and whistles you might want in an analyzer, but when price is a concern, the Smart Bell Plus really gets the job done.
