Hello all. Today we are going to take a look at a relatively complex set of instruments for the analysis of gas levels and air quality in various medical environments.

Now when I say complex, I mostly refer to the technology and the application of the meters but as far as ease of use, these units - Viasensor G200-00N, G210-10N, and G210-11N – actually couldn’t be much more simple to operate. They are basically plug and play testers that you need to have a little know-how about the field to put to proper use.

First off, the Viasensor G200-00N is a portable analyzer for determining N2O levels. This is especially useful in any working environments where this gas is being used relatively en masse, including operating rooms, dental practices, veterinary clinics and X-ray departments.

Essentially you need to know what levels are considered safe for whatever your application is and then you go right ahead and run a test, simple as that.

The Viasensor G200-00N has a 0-1000ppm range and stores up to 1000 readings for analysis over time that can be transferred to a computer for further detail.

Next we have the Viasensor G210-10N and Viasensor G210-11N. These are similar units, but they measure more additional gases, making them ideal for use in more fragile medical environments like hospitals and research labs.

The Viasensor G210-10N measures Nitrous Oxide as above, along with Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide.

The Viasensor G210-11N measures all these, in addition to Carbon Monoxide. The variety of gas measurements in these units make them suited for hospital piped gases and advanced leak detection.

That’s all for now folks
