Hey all. Today we will revisit the Testo 310 since heating season has already crept up on those of you in the East and is coming on fast for the whole country. The Testo 310 is a convenient and rugged portable analyzer that is jam packed with features and Testo quality. It comes in a kit with a printer, or you can purchase the analyzer itself and grab the printer later if needed or as budget allows.

The first thing about this unit that a tech will want to know is the CO range. This is the basic measurement requirement for all combustion testing and no bells or whistles will make up for inadequate CO measurements. Luckily the Testo 310 is flexibly designed for residential and lighter commercial use with a CO range of 0-4000 PPM. Additionally if you ever find yourself in an unknown environment that might have higher ranges, the pump has an auto shutdown feature to prevent the sensors from becoming overexposed or damaged and extra sensor protection is offered by an auto purge/rinse at the end of each use.

Accurate readings are also a must and the Testo 310 features aggressive NOx filtering to ensure that readings are pure and also offers a hose assembly that is Teflon lined to make sure that leakage is a non-issue. The unit is itself is also ruggedly designed for the job site and comes packaged in a molded hard-shell case. The user-friendly design has a backlit display screen, rechargeable 10-hour battery, quick-change probe filters, and magnets for hands-free operation. Additionally, the 310-Kit option includes an infrared printer, also with built-in magnets.

Testo 310 measures:

O2, CO (with built-in NOx filter), CO2
Undiluted CO (CO air free)
Combustion / flue gas efficiency and excess air
Temperature (flue and ambient)
Ambient CO
Draft and pressure

With Testo 310 Residential Combustion Analyzer you can perform faster, productive - tune ups, and maintenance and it gives you reliable results. There are the Top 5 Reasons to Choose a Testo 310 Combustion Analyzer: Industry leading CO sensor protection,  Superior sampling hose, Exceptional moisture/water control, Continuous temperature compensation, and Accurate measurements with integrated NOx filters.

The Testo 310 has the ability to perform both basic and more complex flue gas analysis, maintenance, safety checks, and furnace efficiency confirmations. It is excellent tester when installing a new furnance or boiler. The stainless steel probe and cone-stop is perfect for residential, and boiler applications.
