The Fluke Ti200, Ti300 and Ti400 Thermal Imagers have been discontinued. Please browse the FLIR Thermal Imaging Cameras Catalog.

What is LaserSharp focus? It is Fluke’s new challenge to the world of autofocus technologies that rises to the occasion by ensuring crystal clear image capture every time. In essence, LaserSharp focus is the combination of a proprietary algorithm and a laser distance meter – a device that many technicians will already be familiar with. The process is basically to center the laser on the target that you want to be the focal point of your thermal image. TheFluke Ti200, Fluke Ti300, or Fluke Ti400 then automatically makes calculations based on this distance-to-target ratio in order to bring the image into razor sharp focus. You can see a comparison image to the right to see the huge difference that this feature can make.

Among other things, this technology allows you to take focused images through non-opaque surfaces that would normally confuse a standard autofocus system, like a chain-link fence.

Until the next…
